MANAGEMENT
Proper management skills are extremely important when teaching your dog how to live in the house and how to behave in public. At onPOINT-K9, we want to set your dog up for success; the best way to accomplish this is by teaching appropriate responses to their environment.
OBEDIENCE
Clearly setting standards of what is expected from our dogs is key. Dogs in our program receive one on one obedience sessions to learn their commands. We focus on the foundation commands of sit, down, name, off, leave it, heel, stay, climb, crate, wait, come, as well as how to respond to the word, “NO.”
SOCIALIZATION
A social dog is able to focus on the handler before yielding to environmental distractions such as new people, startling sounds, or other animals. Through pack walks, group training, supervised playtimes, and calm time in the house, your dog will learn his role in the family and in public.
